Welcome to Taipei— a city where creative spirits converge. As the Mayor
of Taipei, I envision creating a city where every citizen can live with
peace of mind, work with inspiration, and take pride in their home. To
realize this goal, we are advancing three core priorities: building Taipei
into a City of Safety, a City of Sports, and a City of the Future.

Safety is at the heart of everyday life. Our top priority is to ensure that
everyone here can live peacefully and make Taipei a safe and welcoming
place. Sportsmanship is the lifeblood of a vibrant city; we actively host
major international competitions and build new athletic venues. With
the opening of Taipei Dome, it further lights up the sporting ethos
across Taipei and fosters a dynamic urban lifestyle. Looking ahead, we
are committed to shaping Taipei as an “AI-Driven Smart City”. We have
been accelerating digital transformation and smart governance, charting a
path toward a more resilient, innovative, and hopeful future. In addition,
Taipei embraces people of all backgrounds, creating a warm and inclusive
city for all to shine.
